BMI Foundation partners with Aspen Music Festival and School for multi-year Fellowship

BMI Foundation President Deirdre Chadwick has announced a new multi-year partnership with the Aspen Music Festival and School, creating the Lionel Newman Conducting Fellowship at the esteemed summer festival. The fellowship will be given annually, with the recipient selected by the Festival.

27-year-old Yuga Cohler, Music Director and Conductor of the Young Musicians Foundation (YMF) Debut Orchestra, is the latest recipient of the BMI Foundation’s Lionel Newman Conducting Scholarship.
