Helen Sung Wins 2022 Charlie Parker Prize

Helen Sung was awarded the 2022 Charlie Parker Prize at BMI’s 33rd Annual Jazz Composers Workshop Summer Showcase held at Dizzy’s Club in New York.

Miho Hazama Wins 16th Annual Charlie Parker Jazz Composition Prize

Composer Miho Hazama was named the winner of the BMI Foundation’s 16th annual Charlie Parker Jazz Composition Prize and Manny Albam Commission at the BMI Jazz Composer Workshop’s 27th Annual Showcase Concert, held on June 25 at the Christ and St. Stephen’s Church in New York City.
