13th Annual peermusic Latin Scholarship Winner Performs in Miami
Eighteen-year-old singer/songwriter Jessica Garcia, winner of the BMI Foundation’s 13th annual peermusic Latin Scholarship competition, appeared in Miami, Florida last week as part of the grand prize to perform at Broadcast Music, Inc.’s (BMI) Noche Bohemia showcase on October 12.
Jessica Garcia Wins 13th Annual peermusic Latin Scholarship
Carolina Arenas, Director of the BMI Foundation’s peermusic Latin Scholarship, has announced that Jessica Garcia is the winner of the 13th annual competition. Garcia, a seventeen-year-old native of Carol Stream, Illinois and student at the College of DuPage, received the $5,000 award for her song, “Sobrevivir.”
